Meet Frankie White, a singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-intrumentalist from Colchester, Vermont, whose music blends raw emotions with fearless creativity. From writing her first song at the age of ten, a playful tune meant for her sister, to preparing for her next big move to Nashville, Frankie’s journey has always been driven by curiosity and self-expression. 

Her upcoming album slated to release in 2026 will mark a defining moment in Frankie’s career: a choice to refine her sound and fully step into her artistic identity. “I’ve been a little all over the map sonically.” she shares, “so I’m excited to narrow down my sound and share it with a target audience.”

As an independent artist, Frankie takes pride in doing things her own way: funding he brown projects, producing her own music, and steering her creative vision. “If you’re the one providing the budget, coming up with ideas, and serving as the mastermind behind the work, you’re an independent artist. And that’s a really cool thing.”

Her openness online has brought both connections and challenges. “Every new comment is either very, very nice or very mean,” she laughs, “But learning to leave myself up to interpretation has helped me trust my own instincts instead of the noise from social media.”

Frankie’s advice for aspiring artists? “Do the crazy thing. Move across the country. Post your music online. Do what people say is cringe. Trust yourself.” 

As Frankie closed out her time in Vermont with her final hometown show at Radio Bean, she is ready for her next chapter: moving to Nashville where she plans to continue evolving her sound and expanding her reach. It’s a defining moment in her journey, marking both growth and new beginnings. 

She hopes her story, from the 10 year old writing songs for fun to an independent artist finding her voice, inspires others to take that same leap of faith and put themselves out there, too.
